Let me start off by saying I F*&%ING LOVE MIAMI BEACH! Aside from it being our favorite place to take a quick getaway as a couple, Florida has always been a special place to me personally. My dad lived in Boca Raton, FL for most of my life, so growing up I would fly back and forth to see him during school breaks and spent my summers there, too. To this day half of my family still lives there as do some of my best friends. As I've grown up, my visits have migrated from Boca to Miami since Ofir (my BFF who also owns an incredible men's store: OFY) lives there, and because I simply love the vibe. Miami is my southern lover, my east coast LA, and my home away from home. So I thought I'd share what I believe to be the current hottest & most instagrammable spots (because you can't leave without a few great 'grams) in case you're stopping by in the near future. <3

1. Dirt Restaurant

@dirteatclean

(BEST FOR: breakfast/brunch/smoothies)

1834 Bay Road, Miami Beach, FL 33140

Anyone who practices healthy eating/living will appreciate the shit out of this place. Not only is each dish visually pleasing, they also include the freshest local ingredients with some sort of twist and the most amazing flavor. Plenty of vegan/vegetarian options, quick counter service, super affordable, and upon leaving you'll feel cleaner. Or like taking a yoga class. Either way, you'll be happy with the photos.

2. Rooftop Bar @ 1 Hotel

@The1Rooftop

(BEST FOR: DRINKS/LUNCH)

2341 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139

In a generally loud, chaotic and touristy area, this place is a bit of a sanctuary. The 1Hotel brand is so on trend, and one of my favorites here in NYC and Brooklyn, so I really couldn't wait to see their Miami Beach location. Always so clean and so chic. Yes, the drinks are expensive, but the Instagram-worthy views make it worthwhile. The best part is it's open to the public, so you don't have to be a hotel guest to enjoy the atmosphere. Come here around sunset time, order yourself a mojito, and let the magical sights unfold.

3. Sensatia @ Faena

@FAENA

(BEST FOR: A SHOW + COCKTAILS)

3201 Collins Avenue, Faena District, Miami Beach FL, 33140

I've been dying to get to Faena ever since Ofir told me a new hotel opened on Collins Ave (as per usual). It brought me back to when The Edition opened a few years ago and I had to see it before anyone else, or when Fontainebleau opened before that and Louis and I paid a ridiculous $1200-ish dollars for a room because I just had to stay there. Yes, great marketing works on me. YES, I am a sucker. Judge me. But also trust the hype, because Faena is everything you would expect it to be. Gorgeous, luxurious, trendy AF, and it draws you in with something fresh and exciting: an experiential dinner show, "Sensatia" in a Moulin-Rouge-esque cabaret style setting. This multi-sensory show is interactive, sultry, and mesmerizing, featuring a shitton of extremely talented performers. It's sexy and perfect, and I was impressed by not only the cast, but the entire production. It's the perfect idea for a bachelorette party, birthday celebration, or a hot date night out. The drinks didn't disappoint either, of course!

4. Bodega

@BODEGASOBE

(BEST FOR: late night food/lounge)

1220 16th Street, Miami Beach FL, 33139

Casual in the front, party in the back. This speakeasy style taqueria and lounge is dope. You can either stop in quick for the best Mexican takeout you'll ever have at 4am, or head to the back beyond the bouncers to shake your booty and find someone fun to dance with. Bonus points for the Instagram-worthy neon LOVE ME, EM KCUF sign.

5. Soho Beach House

@SOHOHOUSE

(BEST FOR: Rooftop Pool/Bar)

4385 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33140

Soho House is a members-only, exclusive, no-photos-permitted but still insta-worthy spot (snuck a few) that has one location in almost every major city. In Miami, it's known as Soho Beach House and aside from its own beach, it also has a pool, a spa, a restaurant (Cecconi's) and a super posh rooftop with stunning ocean views. The people here are some of the most beautiful I've ever seen in my life. I have no idea how they look the way they look. Coming here is confusing because I feel cool every time I get in, but then I look around and realize I've gone from a strong 7 to a barely-hanging-on-5. Drinks are delicious and effective, and the real Soho-Housians know about the famous off-menu secret item known as "the dirty burger" that I will probably dream about for the rest of my life.

6. Matador Room @ The MIami beach Edition

@MATADORROOM

(BEST FOR: Dinner)

2901 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33140

I'm convinced that Jean-Georges completely stopped giving a shit about every one of his NYC locations just to focus on this gem of a spot. Truly the best JG food I've ever had. The menu is eclectic and intended as tapas-style focusing on Latin Caribbean cuisine. Everything is perfectly plated, every course is perfectly timed, and you have the option to either dine inside in the most luxurious supper club style circular room, or outside on the romantic terrace. Most definitely one of my favorite Miami dinner spots to date.

7. Lagniappe house

@lagniappe_house

(BEST FOR: OUTDOOR LOUNGE/live music venue)

3425 NE 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33137

Music, wine and cheese under the stars... what more could you ask for? Lagniappe is a low-key outdoor wine garden that has live music most nights of the week, and a small kitchen where they concoct some beautiful cheese platters to go with your wine sippin. YUM. Super casual, super homey. I find it to be the perfect spot to go right after your plane lands when you feel like enjoying, but you're also a little tired. It's like being in your own backyard.

8. Broken Shaker @ FREEHAND MIAMI

@BROKENSHAKER

(BEST FOR: OUTDOOR bar/LOUNGE)

2727 Indian Creek Drive, Miami Beach, FL 33140

This place wins some serious points for master mixology, more point for great music, and even more for the comfy ass chairs with cute boho string lighting overhead. Points lost for douche-y servers and slow service on the patio, but I'd still go back just for the coconut/banana/rum drink.

9. The Standard SPA, MIAMI BEACH

@THESTANDARD

(BEST FOR: Pool BAR/LOUNGE)

40 Island Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139

Every location of The Standard I've been to gives me serious Alice in Wonderland vibes with its unusual decor and upside down logo, granting me with some of the best unexpected photo opportunities of my insta-life. It's a brand I can also rely on when it comes to food and drink, and it's come to be one I trust with a good time, too. The Miami location is known for having an immaculate swimming pool with speakers that play loud trippy music for you to hear every time you go underwater.

10. Kiki On The River

@KIKIONTHErIver

(BEST FOR: DINNER/DANCING)

450 NW North River Drive, Miami, FL 33128

Where dinner turns into dancing in a gorgeous greenery-filled waterfront setting. A modern twist on Greek cuisine for dinner, and a contemporary Miami style club on ship-like wooden floors afterwards. First, we ate delicious tomato and feta salad, grilled octopus, and table side filleted Bronzino, and about 20 minutes/20 feet later sat besides Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union as we got blasted with air cannons and danced our asses off. What a contrast.

AND ONE FOR GOOD LUCK.

11. 1-800-Lucky

@1800lucky

(BEST FOR: FAST FOOD/ICE CREAM)

143 NW 23rd Street, Miami, FL 33127

This adorable indoor/outdoor Asian market located in Wynwood (Miami's art district) is so fun and out of left field. Inside is kind of reminiscent of a food court, but trendier and with just Asian delicacies. Outside there are little shops, a GIF Photo Booth, and my favorite: the amazing Japanese fish-shaped ice cream cones known as Taiyaki which are all over Instagram right now.
